Privacy

Short, because there isn't much to say.

This site is plain HTML. It uses Google Analytics to count visits, and when you send the contact form it runs a spam check with Cloudflare.

What is collected

The contact form. Your name, email address, subject and message, sent to me by email so I can reply. I keep the email. I don't add you to any list.

Spam protection. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which may set a short-lived cookie on Cloudflare's own domain to tell people from bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit and which pages they read. Google sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, approximate location, device and browser, and the pages you view. I use it to understand what is worth writing more of. I do not use it for advertising and I do not connect it to any ad profile. See Google’s privacy policy, and you can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or your browser’s Do Not Track and cookie controls.

Server logs. Like every web server, mine records the address a request came from, the time, the page, and the browser, for a limited period. This applies to any image on this domain, including the small photo in my email signature. I use these logs for security and to keep the site running, not to build profiles.

Cloudflare. This site is served through Cloudflare's network, which sees the same request data in transit.

What is not collected

No advertising or remarketing. No social buttons that phone home. No accounts. Nothing sold, rented or shared with anyone.
